Watch the documentary we shot during the programme, featuring video diaries by participants and an interview with programme director Professor Kathleen McGinn.
‘There is a connection and energy that happens when like-minded individuals want to learn and grow together.’
Despite the volume of pre-work, ambitious schedule, travel, and accumulated work that is the collateral for my absence, I came away refreshed and energised. I propose the energy of in-person learning, and the prestige of the faculty is to be credited. There is a connection and dynamic when like-minded individuals gather to learn and grow together in good faith and a willingness to be transparent about our struggles.
I'm growth-oriented and constantly reading books and learning online, but this is a next level experience. Learning in an HBS lecture hall on campus, with fellow association members, guided by passionate professors, coupled with the work we put into preparing and the readiness to answer the cold calls – it curated a level of exceptional education. Like all things, you get out what you put in. I count myself fortunate to have participated in the first cohort. Education is a passport to possibility, and the Chief of Staff Association is building a potentially career-changing opportunity with Harvard Business School.
